Yeah, but it just doesn't seem to fit the rest of that stage's line up for the day. It's various forms of ska all day and then a punk band to top it all off. It doesn't seem quite right, I'd rather the Slackers were headlining!

    2. Nope, never really given them a real listen non-live tbh.

    fucking wish I was going....

Has it been announced which band won the chance to play yet? There was some big competition where you had to email in the name of the band you wanted to play and the guys with most votes would get it. Pretty cool prize.

It's disappointing that on a SKA forum, there's more talk of Slam Dunk Festival than there is of The Specials in Millenium Square.

Pama International are playing that too.

I'm not in the country on May 24th either.

    £35
No more than you'd pay to see any other band of their size/calibre

Plus the reviews so far suggest that they've still very much got it.

I understand where you are coming from rich, but the specials are before a lot of peoples time, and slam dunk has more bands, younger bands, and a lwoer ticket price.

I would kill to go to the specials gig though.

I like the older 2Tone and trad stuff probably more than the third-wave stuff to be honest. It's also very hard to get a ticket to these gigs.
