the farther away it is, remember that it means it'll cost all the more iron and will take much longer to build a railway out to you.

if you're seriously planning on building that far out from spawn, just play single player, you're at least a game day away from us

Ah it's all my fault! I didn't realise I was that far out, I thought I'd circled around a bit more, no wonder I couldn't find my way back yesterday. Right, I shall head back to my second place tonight, collect my belongings and head back to my first place.

all on the right there is probably my fault... walking in the wrong direction trying to find my way back onto the map! lol

killing yourself is probably the easiest way to keep from doing that, i would go exploring for 10 minutes, kill myself then do the same again

Epic mining mission!

There was a cave in the snow just to the east of me so I went in. There was some iron and a passageway further down. I went deeper and deeper. I've got about 200 iron for the railroad and some gold ore blocks that you need if I remember correctly. I've got 5 diamonds now too!

all without battling the cave monsters.
how would everyone be to me turning them back on now, is everyone good?

Not yet please! If I could collect my stuff from place number two and just build a shack thing at my old place first, I could probably do that tonight, it shouldn't take me too long... Would that be ok? I'm going to have to frantically light up my cave and stuff but I'm willing to do that with creepers on and stuff, because I'm such a bad ass and all. But I don't think there's a chance of me going across the map and retrieving stuff with enemies

one of my dorfs just named his sword "Kudrash, The Slick Death" Eighteen Notable kills on that short sword

If you could please wait one more day. I'm stuck in the middle of a dark cave! I won't be able to escape til tomorrow now and I have 10 diamonds and loads of gold and iron in my possession.
