i hate wow, i hate what it does to people.
the game takes absolutely no skill, there is nothing more to the game than knowing the rules, there are no choices you have to make in game, it's just a steady crawl to the top. imagine a world championship of ludo. Players training for months to be the best and get the trophy in a game where there is nothing but dice rolls, no strategy involved. or imagine somebody gloating because they're awesome at guessing a coin toss (or playing deal or no deal)

Foxxio on Xbox Live, I spend all my time getting high scores on Geometry Wars while stoned then killing things on Saints Row or Gears 2.
As for shooters erm I guess I've got Halo 3 but I got tired of it pretty quick. What else is there out there?

I'd rep you but you're on 12 and I'm only on 6 (as if you are cooler than me).

I might give that urbanator a go once I've tidied my bedroom and can use my desktop PC again and not a laptop.

I don't have a Gamertag, I've only got a PS3. I rented UT3 for it a few weeks ago. I was so disappointed. Unreal Tournament is a PC game, no doubt about it. Even if you use a keyboard and mouse for it on your PS3 it fails.

The aforementioned workmate comes in every day we're at work and tell me stories about how he was geeking the night before and how some dude killed him so he came back and killed the dude and all his mates and then that dude got more mates and killed him again.

The exact same story all the time.

And thanks, Scott. It might be a while though. I never get time to myself anymore.

Me and Lee played WoW for a night once, the free trial. Our game consisted of dancing in front of people who wanted to duel with us, and being killed by people more powerful than us. All in all, there were better ways we could have spent the evening.

My friend used to play WoW. I still tease him about it.

My xbox live name is Splodgeinator if anyone cares, but I haven't connected it up to the internets for a while and my gold subscription ran out in January.

well i just have a bog standard 360, and at the moment i'm playing resident evil 5. i don't usually criticise games publicly but seriously, anyone thinking of buying this- RENT IT! dont get me wrong, it looks amazing, but it just lacks innovation, the boss battles in particular feel like theyed be at home on the psone. still pretty good though, plotwise and cinematic wise, just don't think its worth shelling out more than 20 quid for. anyway, i am totally looking forward to bioshock 2, first one was wonderful. sorry to have bought to tone down and away from MMORPGORMORGS

I rent most games that I like the look of nowadays. I've got a subscription to Lovefilm.com. I just add the games to my list and hope that they get sent out. The last one I got was Mirror's Edge. One of the most innovative games I've played in a while.

i didn't see much of him from all the way up at the top end of the leaderboard though, BAM!

anyone interested in playing it, it's a free weekend this weekend, you just need a free steam account to play.

all info can be found here.

Theres 6 more of those meet the team videos here as well if you liked the spy one. Smile

Mario the Lost Levels is too hard. I just can't get down with the controls anymore. When I was a kid I could time jumps perfectly and everything.

I'm also getting my ass kicked on Civ 4. I'm ok if I play it on Chieftain level but Warlord (the next difficulty up) has everyone go to war on me.

Yeah sure. I know it used to possible to play other civ games through emails. That would probably be better. I don't know if I could play online for hours at a time.
