Is it one of those cakes where you 'feed' it? Basically poking holes in the cake and pouring alcohol into them. The only reason to eat a fruit-based cake is if it's full of booze Smile

Yeah your meant to make it weeks in advance and do the whole feeding thing, I just soaked the raisins and stuff in ameretto for a couple of days then chucked them in... it was very tasty, very alcoholic though, I think I might have put a bit too much in Razz

Today I cooked the ham, and made stuffing and gravy all for tomorrow.... Also made some fudge for my Dad, but it was a bit of a disaster as I left the recipe in Leeds so just made it up. One batch I overcooked and put nuts into but its just gone all crumbly, and the other two haven't set and just look like goo... I've put them into bags and they all look like poo... so I'm going to put them in a box and wrap them as a present... Should get a few giggles out of that tomorrow! Very Happy

I absolutely love cooking. Its taken a couple years, but I've got to a point where im cooking almost every meal I make. Becoming a vegetarian helped a TON because it made me more concious of the food that I eat and I had to get more creative to keep my meals interesting.

I love cooking, and just like Moose, I like how being a vegetarian forces me to be more creative hehe.

Usually I never get to cook meat (I will eat meat that wasn't raised in a factory farm setting), but My dad is a hunter, and this weekend I got to cook up some deer steak last night Smile Threw em in a pan with a bunch of onions and seasoned em with pepper. Twas delicious!

Are you Reel big moose, only just not as big anymore, so just now a regular size moose that isn't on the end of a fishing line?

or a completley different person all together.
