I saw Zebrahead a few months ago in Sheffield supporting Bowling For Soup. They were probably the best band I saw that night. BFS were shit.

Surprised you think that, other than their transition period where Matty was new to being a lead vocalist, they've always been regarded as a consistently good live band. Granted some of their banter gets repetitive, but otherwise they have a strong live show if you're into that sort of music.

I've always thought they choose poor sound engineers. Always end up with all kick drum and vocals.

Once again, im going to try and keep this forum alive by reviving old topics

So here we go, my first band, Paper Sage, which im still in, started with 2 friends, 1 playing guitar and one on the piano (which is now our vocalist) wanted to start a band, and the summer before, i had seen a local rock cover band and found that the dude playing bass looked so much cooler than the rest, so i tolf my friends, can i join, ill learn bass. And so I joined, then we got about 6 members in total and played knocking on heavens door, that was absolute shit, here you go.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZUuhjvY9Ec

Then we went on to play Zombie by The Cranberries, that was horrible
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmHEZUro8q0&feature=related

Then we played a couple of offspring songs, that was alright, by this time most of the band left and this is now our definitive line up
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W2bEoGxJIM&feature=related
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7qRrCRbv0I&feature=related

Then we finally started making our own songs after 3 years of playing covers for school shows, its still not done yet. And it switched after we realised the guy singing in the offspring covers sucked, that asian guitarist became singer, and god is he great, so they switched place

Then with our singer, guitarist/vocals me and a friend made a small acoustic br00tal black metal band called Andickrist, recorded 3 songs and tattooed an anarchy logo on the singers arm, Hes still regretting it. I dont have them right now but ill try to upload them some time.

Then our singer and another friend (on guitar) and me made a hardcore/noise/porno/screamo band
UPDATED:It is now called mypeniscrying, we recorded 3 songs in total at the moment and are all available for free download here

    http://www.last.fm/music/Mypeniscrying

Keep in mind its not supposed to be serious

Then another Folk Punk band same line up of Andickrist with one less member, its just 1 guitarist and 2 vocalists, including me. We made 2 songs but recorded none, songs about how our lives are shit and drinking is our only activity we do together apart from school and another about fucking everything and breaking shit.

All those 3 bands meant a small hiatus of Paper Sage, which we are working on again as of now, and planning to record the song we made as soon as our singer finishes making all the lyrics.

Oh and i made a 1 man band with bass, drum machine, and in 1 song vocals, all my me, its called Freedom Through the Stereo and you can find the stuff here

    http://www.last.fm/music/Freedom+through+the+Stereo/All+the+Demos+and+Experimentations

PS, i suck at playing music as im not musically talented and have taught myself by playing off tabs of bands i like

EDIT: shiiit, now that I listen to Freedom through the Stereo again, its really shit, just saying, im not that bad, but i recorded the bass and drums (and vocals for the Germs cover) separately, so it sounds really really out of place
