Sure, sounds good. There's a bar just around the side of the Winter Gardens that's pretty cool. My Dad and I spent a lot of time in there when we weren't watching the bands. I'll find the name for it and probably double post later.

I've no idea how I'm getting there or where I'm staying so I can't promise to find anyone anywhere or at any particular time =P

I don't know about it being small. It's probably like a 15 minute walk from our B&B to the winter gardens but you're not going to be walking there and back all day. I'll get the details later because I can't remember the name right now.

Actually, they were quite a young couple. They used to live in Kendal where I used to live so we had a lot in common. The bloke is a nuclear safety man at sellafield or something like that, a bit like Homer Simpson.

Theres a pub up the road that does Hobgoblin as well, no time for that this year though...bands bands bands is the order of the day.

It occured to me as well that we could have a little meet maybe in the late AM on one of the later dates before the bands start.

To make it simple then, I will be in the Red Square at 1100 on Thursday (first band starts 1200). If you are about, drop in. I'll be the ugly motherfucker, dunno what I'll be wearung yet. This is starting to sound a bit like some wierd spy thing but a. I can't see what I'm typing, and b. someone is shouting atme, so its hard to think.

I seriously need to get accomodation sorted, everywhere is fully booked, not to mention that I need a bloody ticket (should take a day or two after I buy it [hopefully]). Can anyone help a guy in need?

Have you tried the B&B I mentioned earlier in the thread? They said they were nearly full but you could give them a try anyway.

My friend just books a hotel on the wendesday or thursday. But they have sold a lot more tickets this year.

me and joe have just booked our B&B! staying at a place called the gallery and the chappy on the phone was very friendly. glad we found a space! everywhere else was full pretty much!
