Introduce Yourself - Page 7 Empty Everyone calm down, Uncle Dan has arrived.

Post by MidlandsDan Mon Jun 01, 2009 11:17 pm

    Evening friends.

I see you like ska. I also like ska.

    Names Dan. From Rugby.

Well hopefully this place will be good for meeting people and not missing out on any good gigs and such. I intend to rant about bands and nights and such that I enjoy. Maybe I will throw in the occasional hilarious leftfield missive from way outside the box of sanity.

I dunno, I'm pretty much drunk all the time these days.

Are we allowed to swear on this site? I love to swear.

No it was some owl called Bob. I do apologise. The mistaken identity is not ment to offend and is simply a combination of my eccentric genius and of course a side effect of the medication that Dr. Landlord has me on.

Triple posting and double posting is generally frowned upon in most internet message boards though. It's best to just edit the first post.

depends, if i checked the thread then he updated his post to say p.s. lee, get i touch with me cos i've got a bajillion pounds for you, i wouldn't read it cos it wouldn't tell me there was unread stuff

you just don't want me to get a bajillion pounds, feltch!

bumping threads on the other hand should be frowned up on, if i didn't care about your gig/stuff for sale/etc the first time, i won't be the third or fourth either.

But with the case of bumping things, (especially on larger forums) people may have missed your post the first time.

I'm not having a go at you, Dan. I can just understand where people are coming from giving you negative reps for posting three times in a row in the space of two minutes.

I am currently at leeds met studying music tech and if any bands or artists want recording ill do it for cheap/free. but at the moment and any other school based holidays i live in the seaside town of great yarmouth, which isnt good....so people have an idea...its near norwich, which is slightly better.

Yeah I think I might have been drunk when I did it.

It was pretty funny though. Well I laughed.

    EDIT: Alright Emma.

What's IOM stand for? The Institute Of Medicine likes ska too? The International Organisation For Migration is full of rude boys and girls?

My guess is its some kind of abbreviation meaning something like other half.
