because i only got the save yesterday and have been on nights so really not been awake long enough lol I apologise, will play my turn tonight, and this week i shud be much faster

yeah, i'm assuming that this process will get smoothed out over time or we'll be playing for the next 30 years

well so far iv explored 3 squares and named my capital, its taken me a week :p

i've built my first city and sent my warriors off to meet up with a village. it's a little risky to leave your city undefended early on but usually if something bad happens on the 3rd turn i'd just start again.

i'm not really adapting to the change, theres like a 30% chance that when my warriors reach the village that enemy warriors will appear from it, autokill my guys and march to my capitol, i'm an idiot and i've just realised.

Shit, me too! The first few turns a really boring when you only have about two things that you can do.

i was tempted to start as a nation that gets scouts to start with instead of warriors to reduce the chances of that, but that's risky as well.

I'm taking the laptop into work in the unlikely case that I'll get my next turn tonight.

i got the save from dave at 2am this morning, unfortunatly, my pc would not boot this morning so I wasn't able to send it on, i'll do so when i get back from york tonight (half 11)

I've just tried sending Bob his turn through the game. I have his email address at the top, then my smtp, then my email address and password. Is that not how it works?

i tried to do it in game and it was just failing, not sure where i was going wrong and the error wasn't very helpful.

either way, a shortcut to the folder on my desktop seems to be doing just fine.

Oh, and about the whole somebody dying really early on for a dumbfuck reason, I remembered that for that very reason I created an AI player as well. In theory, should someone die early on because their only town gets raided, we should be able to allow a human to take over the ai.
