Re: Ideas and suggestions
soooo many emails telling me somethings happened somewhere on the forum, i assume theirs a really easy to find option to turn that off but would be nice if it was default set to 0

poor boby needs some voteup love.
Yeah, it is piss weak that it doesn't default to off, especially when your phone goes off every time you get an email.

Re: Ideas and suggestions
I keep deleting threads from my watch list and it's been ok except the introductions thread keeps coming back from the grave. I have the email me when someone replies thing turned off but it still won't die. Anyone good at working forums and knows how to make it stop?

Re: Ideas and suggestions
Good idea! I notice the top ten podsafe ska tracks are only made up of 5 bands... I think more bands should be promoting themselves this way, as we do. But do include a Bombskare tune on any Podcast you do!

Re: Ideas and suggestions
I think that is a definite must for this site. Release the podcast on a Friday alongside the band of the week.

post something else in introductions and untick the box under the typey bit to watch the thread, or, if that doesn't work, you can do it all from profile as well. check it's not still ticked in there.

Re: Ideas and suggestions
I'm restricted to using Internet Explorer at work, as i'm sure many others are. Plus there are still those out there who haven't been enlightened yet.
Therefore, can someone please do something about the formatting on the forum??
When viewing in IE this entire site has really really BAD AIDS.
Especially if the screen hasn't been maximised.

Re: Ideas and suggestions
i have to specially min/maximise the screen if i want the site to look normal, but the text is reasonably central that sort of works, but yeah AIDS

Re: Ideas and suggestions
I've noticed a few little bugs. The links at the bottom to free forums etc are they needed? if they are required to keep this forum then i suggest moving them so they arent half on the footer. Maybe make them a subtle colour.
Also when i log in my user name is on a different line that the logout link which sorta breaks the skin of the header/links and forces it to the next line
The page number navigation. The highlighted colour seems out of contrast to the rest of the skin and the comma's seem unnecesary.
the navbar when you highlight on it pushes itself out and looks kinda wierd
These are only little things though so dont break a nut trying to fix them.
If you need a hand i'm savy in html, css, java(mainly jquery), php and phpbb boards.

Could you get a screenshot of the bolded one I can't really understand it from the description.
Unless you mean the "Logged as Parg/ScottMoon/Name/Whatever" part is below the header and it looks weird.

I'd say that's something to do with the size of your screen / the resolution. How big is it / what resolution do you run?

Re: Ideas and suggestions
The ads i'm guessing are because we're using a free forum, i've done nothing to turn them on and i doubt i can turn them off. I imagine we got some sort of adless period which has now ran out.
