Slam Dunk Fest Line-up (UPDATED AGAIN 10/03/2010)

So if you havent already heard the first bands on the line up for slam funk festival have been announced. the line up for the vans stage is currently looking like this:

The rest of the festival(7 whole stages including the vans stage) looks like this so far:

With an absolute ton more to be announced including the last couple of bands for the vans stage.

There are also 2 dates to the festival this year: Saturday 29th May at the University of Hertfordshire and Sunday 30th May at Leeds university.
Tickets will be £25 plus booking fees and are available from this saturday (20th) to those who register here: http://www.slamdunkmusic.com and then to everyone else on monday(22nd)

Seriously fucking amazing. The only devastating thing is going to be the inevitable clashes. The heartbreaking decision between ska and pop punk.

If the evolution line up in newcastle is shite on the second day this year (quite possible), then my friends coming down to leeds for this with me. I might cry if i can't see capdown, i'm already missing the atari teenage riot reunion gig.

Found out about Capdown this morning and got very excited, should be a good un! I missed last year because funds were lacking

YES, i'm going! Evolution line up sucks so my friend's agreed to come down. Any one night accomodation advice for leeds?

slam dunk after party till 3, then that bar behind rios till like 6 probably then a casino and or strip club till either you train or normal pubs open?

Party all night! Don't stay in the travel lodge... the one in Leeds is proper scabby, unless you don't mind that. I don't think there are any hotels around the uni, but pretty much any hotel in town will do, you can walk pretty much everywhere in Leeds!

Or if your really stuck my sofa will probably be free, and I only live 10 min away... Only problem is that despite how lovely my flat mate is, she can be a complete twat if you wake her up so it means trying to be really really really quiet coming home (which is really hard, especially if your drunk), I felt her wrath after I woke her up at 4.30am a few weeks back

Travel lodge will probably do, we'll be leaving like first thing in the morning and might head to newcastle in time for De La Soul/The Horrors/Enter Shikari...but mainly De La Soul

do you have exams on bank holidays?

I don't know, I'd presume not, but maybe the day after, and I guess Dave would want to study, however, I will talk him round! I didn't know it was a bank holiday though, I'll use that one as another excuse to get away!

Yeah, I think it'll be leeds, I've spoken to one or to people who seem upfor it, and then theres 3 or 4 others wh can't make their minds up, how quickly do the tickets get sold for it?
