Hey all! Got a cheeky question / favour to ask if you lot wouldn't mind helping me out...
I'm writing my dissertation on politics in 20th century Jamaican popular music, and how this has been incorporated into contemporary underground music in the UK
sooooo..
i'm trying to think of as many political ska / reggae / ska-punk / dubby (etc) UK bands as possible, and if anyone can think of a few to help me out that'd be ace!
Off the top of my head i've already got:
King Blues
SB6
Suicide Bid
Capdown (i know they're not around atm, but contemporary enough)
Asian Dub foundation
King Prawn
The Skints
Cheeeers!
