Good Gym Songs?!
Someone mentioned on another thread that they were listening to something in the gym... And I've been trying to fill my iPod shuffle with some motivational tunes.. so just wondering what everyone listens to at the gym? Anyone got any good music suggestions that will keep me in the gym as long as possible?

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
YES. ive inspired a topic, im so proud of myself
it was the jb consiracy i was listening to, very good. Although pendulum and prodigy work just as well, so does any drum and bass music.

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
I find it hard to run to music on a treadmill for exactly that reason. I was trying to think of some ska tunes to make a mix cd for circuit training a while back. Some songs that mainstream folk would appreciate. I guess that just leaves Madness and The Specials. Not much of a mix there.
Top Gun OST, or even better, the actual film itself. No, it isn't just for the sweaty volleyball scene.

Ha! I remember running back home one night with my little brother humming the rocky theme tune, god it was so funny! I hope no one saw us though.. that would have been embarrassing...
Treadmill is the worst one for finding music for I think... but I do hate the treadmill anyway..

Yeah I like the rowers too! Can't row for very long though.... I'm so unfit! Haha! My favorite is the cross trainer I think...
Has anyone used one of those vibrating machine things? Had an induction a while back, my god it was weird... haven't used it since

the best breathing rhythm to run to is 3 beats in, 2 beats out. logically it would help you keep rhythm better listening to music in 5/4

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
Gaslight Anthem's good for gymming.. J.E.W's ace too (specially the album 'futures') but that probs wouldnt be to everyone's taste.
My dad used to put on Tubular Bells (exorcist) by Mike Oldfield.. was actually pretty good running music, if mildly disturbing lol
