I'll allow another amazing person on this board. I want to renounce that claim anyway. Amazing people don't catch flu.

Speaking of fat arses. I was in the doctor's surgery today and this nurse came in asking to swap her chair with arms on for one that didn't have arms. Her buttocks were so big that she couldn't sit on the one with arms on.

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
I'm bumping this nearly two year old thread because I need some new chooooons for the gym as I need to get mega fit for doing a charity run thing next month, don't worry I shall soon be harrasing you all for sponsorship
I've kind of got into a loop of listening to a lot capdown, which I want to get out of before I start to hate them! I've found random hands new album is good gym music. I still haven't found anything I'm comfortable running to, which I guess isn't that much of a problem now because my new headphones don't like staying in my ears when I move too much

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
When I go running I usually just put on my ska playlist. Not all of the songs go well with running but I notice it when they do.
I was about to list them but my iPhone is being a cunt. It keeps forgetting my music.

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
No that I think I've got my phone sorted and that horrible word is out of my system, my ska playlist for running includes:
Superman - Goldfinger
Anger Management - Random Hand
Beer - Reel Big Fish
This Machine - JB Conspiracy
Weekend Waster - 3 Minute Warning
Everything Went Numb - Streetlight Manifesto
Tank Top - Shoot The Moon
History of a Boring Town - Less Than Jake
Raw Fish - MU330
They mostly contain fast tempo upstrokes. And that's why ska-punk is fun, right?

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
I added superman to the mix after seeing Goldfinger on Saturday. I don't think I can listen to beer ever again, but I'll check out your other suggestions. My friend introduced me to The Cat Empire this weekend so I had their live album playing while I was at the gym yesterday. Was good, except it kind of made me want to get off the machines and start dancing...

I saw this the other day and thought it was relevant to this thread. I haven't tried it yet but I think it's exactly what you're looking for.

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
Thank you fletch!! I need to find some headphones I can actually run with though, nothing stays in my ears long enough, but it'll be quite fun to sit and make a playlist using that method anyway, even if I just have it for when I'm using the other equipment. On the subject of running, last night I ran 5k on the treadmill... I went pretty slow and it took me 42 minutes but I'm pretty damn proud of myself right now

Re: Good Gym Songs?!
That link takes you to Lifehacker.com. It's a pretty useful site for stuff like that. If you do a search on there I think they did an article on how to modify your headphones so they mould to your ear.
