Just got on eBay, right bargain at 158quid, might need to be repadded but otherwise fine. I know 400 isn't one of their higher models but i was wondering if anyone had/has one.

Anyone know how easy they are to learn on/play

also should i start with a 2.5 reed then work out whether i want a softer or harder set?

i managed to get decent sound out of a friend's bari the other day and i know how the notes work so i'm really chuffed to finally get my own sax =]

I'd start with 1.5's or 2's, because 2.5's will be too hard (it's different to using a 2.5 on a bari)

Learn One Step Beyond first, it's dead easy to work out, and in like a day you'll be able to play the solo, and feel like the king of sax.

    This is my guarantee!

I'm thinking of called it Heather, after Heather Hannoura the artist who designed a lot of the Alkaline Trio logos and stuff

anyone name their instruments except my foolish friend with barry the bari sax who tried to name my tbone trever?

I don't know anyone who names instruments but I do know that you should name your trombone Trevor.
