so i got my postal vote today and tehirs 12 fucking choices on it! including some fundermental christian party type thing that scares me a bit, not as much as the ukip/bnp/variouse other new and exciting forms of rasism, but still!
in other news, whos voting?
im probably going to throw my lot in with the conservatives since iirc one of the guys standing for them is a prety cool guy whos good and stuff (he was the only name out of any of the candidates that i recognised), going to do some research to day. I realy hate voting for a party instead of a candidate but I feel a vote needs to be passed just to be -1 to the bnp
its the 4th that we vote on, i get postal votes because it reminds me to vote, and yeah my point was im going to research it, but if i cant find anything il vote for him beacause i trust him to do a good job and fuck voting for a party, what polocies do the green party actualy have? I always dismised them as a lol party due to the local candidate beeing a tool.
I don't think I will vote, as I find every polititian hard to belive, and they all seem to have the same interests. Saying that I'd say the only party that would stick to their policys and ideologys is the green party, who i would like to vote for, but as a driver of a car it puts me off voting for them, maybe i'd feel like a hypocryte.

That's not actually a good idea, this is a closed voting system, you can't vote for a candidate for the eu, only for a party. The guy you vote for may be 4th in line for a seat. not much chance of that one.

i'll be voting green, as you know, i couldn't give two shits for the environment (bring on the hot weather) but they are very liberal and have a lot of policies I would agree on, very democratic. They want proportional representation, a written constitution and a separation of church and government.
Although I label the below as propaganda (it is made by the greens), it does make a lot of sense and i've ran this by Mr. Potkins (local expert on politics), he agrees that it's most likely the way it will play out. It also quickly runs by how the election system works if anyone is confused.
