Advert in some random magazine I was reading today says it's SB6. This pleases me greatly. =]

Another round of "when I say 'Reel Big' you say 'Fish'!"? That's absolutely fine with me!

Re: Reel Big Fish UK tour
I've just been glancing at my recommended events on last.fm... and it said RBF were being supported by Big D and the Kids Table! My god I hope this is true... otherwise it is a very cruel joke

Re: Reel Big Fish UK tour
My sister just texted me and she says RBF, Big D and SB6 are playing in Nottingham on the 27th so I guess it's true

Good god, it IS big D. they have the dates listed on their myspace. This is good news, as it means my friend who does not like reel big fish wants to come anyway

Re: Reel Big Fish UK tour
After some clever emailing, me and my co-host are gonna be interviewing not one, but all of the bands playing this tour for the Punk + Disorderly show on Oxide.
Now, I've got no experience interviewing bands, but if you've got any questions you think are worth putting to SB6, Big D and/or Reel Big Fish, please do tell me

Re: Reel Big Fish UK tour
bit of an obvious one, but i always wondered which bands influenced reel big fish, so that might be a good place to start

Could you ask Ben C how he developed broad shoulders and considerably more body hair since the Levellers tour? =PManamana wrote:... but if you've got any questions you think are worth putting to SB6 ...

Thanks v much for the serious one therur, I'm sure if I get stuck/ overly excited and start mumbling I'll probably end up asking one of them what a pidge-hole is lol.

Re: Reel Big Fish UK tour
Sorry for not being serious, I spent a day with Asher recently and I'm sure you can appreciate how that drains all semblance of serious thought from your head.
For a proper question, how about asking them how exactly Ben will still be involved with the band and whether he has in fact moved to America, seeing as I'm under the impression he's still in Manchester.
Also just realised you've never met me and have no idea who I am... and that I'm just making the assumption you're Lois?

Indeed I am Lois I'm afraid to say I haven't a clue who you are, but you appear to know my ex. Umm, not to sound rude but... who are you?

Re: Reel Big Fish UK tour
Oh dear I should probably stop going online drunk at Xmas shouldn't I.
I'm James (not Austen), met Asher via t'Internet and hung out round his over Easter '07. Mostly we meet at gigs these days but I was stuck in London while my girlfriend was at a wedding before Xmas so we terrorised Denmark St, Leicester Square (while singing the Rancid tune) and Nandos at the Elephant.
But yeah, sorry if there's any bad blood there but I recognised you from photos with him, noticed the Oxford/London and put two & two together.

Re: Reel Big Fish UK tour
Methinks he has indeed told me about you. Tis a small world, and Asher knows many people... I wouldn't call it 'bad blood', but he gave me the impression he didn't wanna talk last time I saw him. Still, there are many many other awesome ska people, which is why I go on here talking to them

Re: Reel Big Fish UK tour
Aye I always expected him to be on here and I suggested it once or twice but to no avail. Perhaps he'll turn up now that we've spoke of the devil =P
Yeah the bastard knows everyone, it's fantastic but anyway sorry for the weird internet thing there hope ya weren't freaked out! If you're ever in Birmingham (god knows why you would be) then we'll probably see each other at a gig and if not then I might well be shifting base to London town next year and vainly attempting to start a serious ska band with that man so I'm sure we'll run into each other if that ever gets off he ground
