Quick sax question! Empty Quick sax question!

Post by Katie Sun Sep 13, 2009 3:38 pm

So, I just bought a saxophone, and it came with some generic nameless reed. I need to buy some decent ones, but have no idea what to get.

    Any reccomendations??

I recommend Rico ones. Not sure how much they are though (I don't get new reeds very often).

The isn't really a question anyone can answer easily. I'd strongly recommend going to a local music shop and buying a load of different sizes and makes. Find a strength (if you're new to playing it will most likely be a low strength) and try and get similar strengths of different files and brands of reed. You'll find a big difference between different reeds but only you can really decide whats right for you.

Personally I swear by La Voz reeds for my Alto, but I like Rico Jazz Select for my Tenor.

    Quick sex question!

So, I just bought a new dildo, and it came with some generic nameless lube. I need to buy some decent ones, but have no idea what to get.

    Any reccomendations??
