I trust everyone is well and refreshed after last Bank Holiday weekend and that all you festival-goers have had a chance to revive and recuperate from whatever madness went down. OK, today's news is that we've finally dotted the T's and crossed the I's enough to ensure that we're bringing our debut album home to Rebel Alliance Recordings! It's been out of print for a while and we're stoked to announce that we're releasing The Ruff-Guide to Genre-Terrorism DELUXE EDITION on October 5th. To celebrate, we've lovingly created a new edition of the album. Housed in a new embossed digipak, the CD features previously unreleased bonus tracks, new artwork and enhanced content including the never seen before, Ruff-Guide tour documentary 'A Boom Under Northern Skies'.



As if that weren't enough to whet the appeitite, we've got an exclusive SB6 Official Store CD & T-Shirt bundle. So, as well as the DELUXE EDITION digipak CD, this includes a unique, brand-new t-shirt design created for this promotion by Combination 13. The Sonic Boom Six official store is the only place to get the t-shirt!

Well well well, since the announcement about the new reissue of 'Ruff-Guide' we've had lots of feedback, hullabaloo and, indeed, good old-fashioned questions about it. Rather than reflecting on the fact I didn't show a picture of the t-shirt or reveal the tracklisting and should reasonably accept that those questions are inevitable, I'd like to think that it's because you're all so jolly excited about getting your hands on it. However, being the pragmatic beast I am, I've succumbed to public pressure and agreed to reveal these secrets.

The Ruff-Guide to Genre Terrorism DELUXE EDITION contains 4 bonus tracks culled from the Ruff-Guide period as well as a 15 minute tour documentary entitled 'A Boom Under Northern Skies'. We've got the original demo of 'Piggy in the Middle' and the demo of 'Shareena' on there as well as the groovy Tim G remix of 'All-In' and the Babyboom remix of 'Nothern Skies' to bring things to a close. The t-shirt in the t-shirt & CD bundle is closely related to the new CD cover and features the classic Boom grenade with a fiery yellow outline and new graphics.
