Pedigree Chump and That Should Cover it are their best albums. I really don't like their self-titled.

yer, despite the title, its really not spunge, maybe its got something to do with loosing their other guitarist all a bit of a shame.

Re: What are you listening to?
even though summers has now won the game, i've got hold of sgt. peppers in mono
i'm listening through it now, the mix is a lot fuller, its as though its been remastered, it could have been recorded yesterday, i'd recommend it for any beatles fan.
you can only get it on vinyl, the going rate is £50 or i'm sure there'd be another way to find it, possibly recorded from vinyl to 192 kbit/s stereo (interestingly enough) mp3, i don't know

Been listening to bands that have split up this morning! Howards Alias, No Comply, Adequate 7 and Edna's Goldfish have been the soundtrack to my day so far.

Re: What are you listening to?
They're pretty much officially brass-less at the moment, and playing as a four piece. Although this album does have some horns in it somewhere apparantly.
I'm still holding off listening to it. Should be with me in less than 3 weeks...i hope!

Re: What are you listening to?
yeah, there's a couple of brass bits, but not anything significant.
it's still awesome though. lots of the sort of more chilled reggae feel to quite a few of them, similar to the tracks 8 & 9 of the last album.
good

I'm definitely not as bowled over by it as i have been with every other release. Maybe it's a grower, who knows.

Re: What are you listening to?
The two tracks they put up for download I think are awesome.
When Hope is a Butterfly reaches the breakdown it's so so damn good.
LOVE the intro to Bring Our Children Home, as well as the awesome guitar solo towards the end. I've always loved the jam/prog aspects of RxB, and so far it really feels as though that's being fully showcased on Mandala. Feels like there's so much going on in the tracks.

Re: What are you listening to?
yeah, Hope is a Butterfly is definitely the weakest track on the album, but it's still decent.
god knows why they thought to release it first
