I really hate it when this sort of thing turns up, it really does strike me as odd that a show about this kind of thing is never even brushed by somebody who knows what they're talking about.

In ER they have real doctors on set to make sure nothing this dumb goes out and yet this sort of bollocks is fine in CSI, Die Hard 4 or Transformers.

I hate those shows. People instantly dismiss quality shows like Battlestar Galactica because it's SF but they love shows like CSI. CSI is a show all about forensic science, yet all of it is fiction - go figure.
