Fucking Firefox!

(Nah, I'm not asking you to share your stories of passion with this particular internet browser...)

My problem lies in the fact that I'm doing carrying out the essential ska mutiny/facebook/general time wasting internet activities and then I try and click something, like a hyperlink or change to another open tab, and it won't let me click on anything or scroll. Literally none of the links on the page work. However, if I minimize to the task bar and open it up again, it's fine but for only one click, and then I have to minimize/maximize it to then get one click again.
As you might imagine, this is highly pissing me off and making me rage. Even if I close the window and open up a new one, it still does it. It stops after like an hour or 2, but will come back and make me rage again. (<= genuinely my face)


My question is, Lords and Ladies of the internet, how the merry hell do I fix this?! Do I have to reinstall FF? Resort to IE??!!!

You should never have to resort to IE. Evar.

Maybe it's something to do with any add-ons you have installed?

I'd go with dimmers on this one. If a re-install with none of the add-ons doesn't work I don't know what will.

I love chrome crazy bad. Can't wait for a mac version of it.

I'd have to agree with lightowler, the thing that made me start using it is that it's made by google and I love google. But some nice things about it are the clean and attractive interface, the customisable homepage where you can just have all your most used website searches lined up, the fact that if a tab crashes it's just that tab that crashes rather than the whole browser, the way it allows you to make a desktop shortcut to your favourite 'web apps', 'incognito' mode for 'private browsing' which can run parallel to non-'incognito' windows... and yeah, it's made by google.

try runnng the addon fasterfox. speeds my shit up
