Re: The film thread
Watched Cop Out last night, was really good, it made me do a few giggles.
Going to watch Sex and the City 2 next week, I wouldn't believe I'd be saying that a year ago... my flat mates are a bad influence.

That was a great film, a great book too. They just don't make 'em like they used to.

Sure, why not. It will probably take me a whole evening to get it from you because of my shitty connection, though.

Re: The film thread
Is that actually what the film is like. I couldn't seperate the satire and the truth. A sign of good sarcasm, that is. While I have no interest in these movies, my wife does. It's about the only womanly thing she does. That and bloody Mills & Boon books. I don't know what is worse.

Re: The film thread
I imagine the film is like that. Was meant to be going to see it today sometime, but as I have a deadline tomorrow I don't think its the best idea! I've heard quite a lot of people have said its rubbish...

I've just watched The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington. It's good and I want to play Fallout now.

I liked it but the people I watched it with said they found it boring. I'm a sucker for post-apocolyptia.

Re: The film thread
did you like the road, i thought the road was boring, i think it was transferred from book to screenplay too literally. there are bits where he voiceovers "i told my son stories of the old heroes, to give him hope", why not just do that instead of talking about it?

Re: The film thread
Went to see Toy Story 3 last night. It was awesome. Everyone should go see it!! I was a bit worried that they would ruin a good thing but it was fantastico!
- Spoiler:
- I well thought it was going to end at the bit where they were all doomed and holding hands... would have made a really interesting (and brutal) ending considering its a kids film... but it was cute that it ended with Andy giving the little girl his toys
