Sonic Boom Six for Reading/Leeds

The lovable scamps Sonic Boom Six are apparently opening the main stage at Reading/Leeds festival no word on the days yet though(very vague i know but i lifted it off of punktastic so blame them)

everyone going should make sure they're there at the front supporting!

That's excellent news for them. Hopefully this will give them a nice boost of recognition and hopefully i'll stop being laughed at when I try to introduce someone to their music. For some reason people think music's better when they see or hear it on telly or radio and all the rest of it. Why the hell is that?


I suppose it's nice that when I mention King Blues I no longer get the reply 'ZOMGZZ U LISEN 2 BLUES MUSIC!?!?!? U NOB!'

Dimmers told me yesterday, sounds amazing! Seriously incredible for them (got to be one of your dreams accomplished, right barnes?), and can only be a good thing for the UK scene. Just gutted i won't be there!

That is a pretty big step, I didn't think SB6 were big enough for the mainstage! But hey i'll be there! anyone know what day yet?

I found out from Tilston on Sunday too. This is from the reading site btw. At Leeds, Sonic Boom will be opening Sunday. Here's the new bands added this week.

Im seriously in 2 minds about whether to sell my Leeds ticket or not. On the one hand i dont think I have anyone to go with really on the other hand i dont have to camp, I could just bus it there and back every day and check out some bands.
