The Boom are touring to promote new album 'city of thieves' at the moment with Random Hand as main supports.

We supported them in plymouth the new faster 2 guitar songs by SB6 are really good and Random Hand sound better than ever. If you get a chance to get out for one of the dates go for it!!

Yeah the 2 dates I've seen so far have been wicked awesome!!!

Gutted I can't get the time off work for the London date at the end of the month.

Off to see them next sunday at Slam Dunk, should be a good show- shame they only get 45mins though I like the city of thieves album too, its pretty cool, it shows a side of the boom that i havent seen before on 'eyes of a child' and 'rum little skallywag'. Probably my two favorite tracks on that album.

I certainly didnt mean any personal insult as ive not even spoken to the guy much less know him. And as I'm no expert im not gonna say anything more after this, but this is a forum where opinions are supposed to be voiced, even if not agreed with. I felt that the sound for rh and to a leser extent sb6 was way muddier than the bands before and after which andy did. Its not a technical opinion, or one with any substance as like i say im no expert. just my opinion. really didnt mean to anger people so much jings.
