    Sadly it wasn't good news!

But I might just go mental on ebay and see what I can get with what I have... that might be fun...

    term band used loosely.. lol

And that XKCD strip is such a good idea, ebay should run it as some kind of promotional offer or competition of something.

don't tell mum i work on the rigs is fucking awesome. i loved that book from start to finish, the only downside was that i would be laughing on the train while reading it. there is some scary bad shit in there too though, (i'll keep this spoiler free) the entire chapter about the barfight and long running repercussions near hte beginning is the 2nd most depressing thing i've ever read.

i am legend spoiler for anyone wanting to read the most depressing thing i've read.
    Spoiler:
the dog dying in i am legend, that whole chapter is a long and slow mindgame neville is playing with himself, he rests his sanity on that dog, and slowly, over weeks and weeks he gets it to trust him enough so that he can grab it and drag it into the house. the tone of it shifts dramatically as the dog is barking and biting and trying to get out of the house up until it is rested and trusts him, then it just hits you with "by the end of the week, it was dead"

Yeah its good 'I had killed my pet monkey with an exploding coconut. I was devestated.'

That spoiler thing struck a chord.

my favourite bit is probably from when he was a kid smoking weed and his mate fell into the rose bush, oh so tragic but oh so funny, either that or when he was arrested and put in the riot van with the psycho guy
