Of course, how did I not make that not-at-all-tenuous link.

Re: What are you listening to?
Today I got Beat The Red Light's new album and it's totally rad. The cover art/poster is slightly unsettling though

Right about the song, right about the video. The kids look like they had loads of fun making that.

Re: What are you listening to?
Recently got back into these guys. Their first 4 albums are killer. This + Nitro-era A.F.I. was pretty much my diet in high school.

I love that Tim Armstrong song. The first few tracks on that album are amazing.

Re: What are you listening to?
Totally, his voice does grate on me though. Meh, it wouldn't be Tim if he actually pronounced words and played more than two chords. Watching Rancid live is hilarious.

Re: What are you listening to?
For some reason I've had this stuck in my head all night. I must admit it's nowhere near my favourite Specials song.

This Captain Hotknives song reminds me of Comply or Die.

Re: What are you listening to?
Had a parcel from Do The Dogs sale just before last weekend, so been busy plwing my way through those and sorting out the stuff to go in the 'Never to be listened to again' flight case. Only found two that don't appeal to me so far, so not a bad ratio.
By far and away, the winner of best album so far is Carolegians Vs Moon Invaders, absolute spot on early ska but pretty new. I was DJing at a scooter rally this week and played a couple of tracks from it during a set of Trojan and they fitted perfectly, and I had a fellow DJ and early ska obsessive asking me what they were.
